Abstract
Human resources are precious assets of any organization. Every organization, industries, universities, schools, governments, industries and others tries to retain its workforce by providing better working conditions to them. Employee’s motivation, engagement, performance and quality of work life environment are crucial sources of employee’s high performance in manufacturing industries particularly garment industries. In the last decade saw an upheaval in the growth and development of the Indian economy which was accompanied by the revolution in the technological front and a radical change in the way business was done. Instead of being the lack of all trades, the smart organizations have redefined the way of working and now aim at being the master of their core business. Every organization, industries, universities, schools, governments, industries and others tries to retain its workforce by providing better working conditions to them. The employee’s motivation, engagement, performance and quality of work life environment are gaining importance.
