Abstract
The violent conflict events in Kashmir are reported since 1989 and traumatizes nearly everyone especially young population in Kashmir. The prolonged exposure to violent conflict makes young population highly vulnerable to developmental trajectories or deviations. The patterns of adjustment and achievement motivation in school going adolescents living in conflict zones are unexplored. This study aimed at exploring the relationship of exposure to violent conflict and usage of multiple social networking sites with patterns of adjustment and achievement motivation in school going adolescents in Kashmir.
